Functional Foundations
Training For 6+ Month Old dogs & Rescue Dogs
Raising or rescuing a dog can truly be a fulfilling experience, despite the challenges that may arise. Many dogs come from backgrounds where they haven't had the opportunity to learn how to communicate effectively with their human guardians or acquire the necessary skills for urban living.
Functional Foundations classes will cover a range of fundamental abilities, including introducing leash skills, recall training, establishing boundaries, building confidence, trust, and resiliency.

Training For SENIOR Dogs (7+)
Is your dog 7 years or older? If so, this 4-week Senior Dog Program is here to help you support them as they move into their golden years with easy tips, wellness advice, and expert guidance.
The class offers expert tips on managing mobility, cognition, and overall wellbeing, including wellness and supplement advice from Dr. Mike Bondar. These practical lessons will help you enhance your senior dog’s comfort, vitality, and quality of life.

Rally Obedience (Rally-O) merges traditional obedience training with an interactive course where handlers and dogs team up to tackle stations in a certain order.
Encouraging a more relaxed and interactive atmosphere, Rally-O courses mimic real-life scenarios, giving dogs and handlers practical obedience skills.

A low-impact alternative to traditional agility courses, it featuring hoops, barrels, tunnels, and more!
Hoopers courses are more gentle on joints, making it a perfect exercise for older or physically limited dogs.

Sporting Detection, or "nosework," is a fun and competitive form of scent detection where dogs are trained to locate hidden target scents in a designated area.

Just For Tricks! is a Trick Training class that aims to teach you how to communicate with your dog in a new way, build an even stronger bond and have incredible bragging rights, all through learning dog tricks! From learning basic to
awe-inspiring tricks, your dog will be sure to wow your family, friends and passersby! Your dog can even earn trick titles while you both have a blast turning into trick superstars!
Private Training
Do you have specific training goals that may not be covered in one of our classes? Or perhaps your schedule requires a more flexible training schedule?
At Unified K9 we offer private training sessions that can accommodate most schedules. The training program will be designed based on your dog’s needs and your goals.
