Agility
Dog agility is a popular dog sport that involves a timed obstacle course where dogs must navigate various obstacles under the guidance of their handlers. Agility courses typically consist of a combination of jumps, tunnels, weave poles, A-frames, dog walks, seesaws, and other obstacles.
The course is designed to test the dog's agility, speed, coordination, and obedience skills. The obstacles are arranged in a specific sequence, and the dog and handler must work together to navigate the course in the correct order, following the handler's cues and commands.
Dog agility is not only a competitive sport but also a recreational activity for dog owners, it provides mental and physical stimulation for the dogs, helps build their confidence and obedience, and strengthens the bond between the dog and handler. It is also a great way for dogs to exercise and burn off energy in a fun and challenging way.
